Can't find a taxi? If it's raining or rush hour this is often the case.
Here's some useful bus and metro routes you can use if you are in a jam, or simply don't want to shell out the cash for a taxi.

Shanghai Lu—Hunan Lu: Take bus three to the Shanxi Lu stop.
Shanghai Lu—Zhong Shan Ling: Take bus twenty to the Zi Jin Shan Sui Dao stop.

Hunan Lu—Xin Jie Kou: Take metro to the Xin Jie Kou stop.
Hunan Lu—Gu Lou: Take metro to the Gu Lou stop

Gu Lou—- Zhong Shan Ling: Take bus one to the Si Fang Cheng (Mei Hua Mountain) stop
Or take bus twenty to the Zi Jin Shan Sui Dao to stop.
Gu Lou—– Xin Jie Kou: Take metro to the Xin Jie Kou stop.

Xin Jie Kou—Fu Zi Miao: Take metro to the San Shan Jie stop or take bus one to Xin Jie Kou
Xin Jie Kou—Zhu Jiang Lu: Take metro to the Zhu Jiang Lu stop.
Xin Jie Kou—Gu Lou: Take metro to Gu Lou stop.

Fu Zi Miao—Hunan Lu: Take metro to the Xuan Wu Men stop
Fu Zi Miao (North gate)—Nanjing train station: Take bus one to the Train station.

How to buy:
Metro card
Show them your employee’s ID card along with your passport at any metro station.

BUS pass
There are two different kinds of IC cards, people can buy both of them at Huaxia Bank, Suojincun Bus Station, and some of the big bus stations.
Type A, if you lose this IC card, you can call the IC card company to report the loss of your card, and they can transfer money from the old card to the new card. To buy this kind of IC card, you will need to bring your ID card, and pay 30rmb deposit.

Type B, if you lose this IC card, you just lose it. You don’t need to bring any identification cards.
